Partnerships

Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College takes pride in partnering with a wide array of businesses, educational institutions and community organisations across the UK to enrich our students' journeys, equipping them with the essential skills needed to excel in the workforce and benefit our local community.

T Level Industry Placements

On a T Level course, students are provided with the opportunity to real-world experience through their 315-hour / 45-day industry placements. This helps our young people to stand out from the crowd and helps employers to inspire the next generation of the workforce. Students bring fresh perspectives, enthusiasm, and new learning into the workplace. The industry placement could be entirely focused around a project that the employer would like to complete but has never had the time or resource to commit to, or it could be completing tasks associated with the sector in a supportive capacity. There are countless ways to develop the talent pipeline of the future whilst developing your business. Hosting a student through an industry placement helps you to:

  • Find potential members of staff who are becoming qualified in their fields
  • Gain additional support as students take on projects, social media work, or essential daily tasks
  • Develop your existing employees by allowing them to manage / supervise students
  • Gain new ideas and perspectives from students who are training
  • Raise your profile by allowing us to market the excellent work you're doing with students
  • Help to up-skill a new generation of workers

At Notre Dame, we manage the entire process closely with you and support the student if issues arise. Employers can interview students or rely on the College to place students with each business' tailored needs in mind. We have a dedicated staff member to support the students' manager and other supervisory staff in the workplace.

Our Employer and Engagement Manager is a dedicated staff member at Notre Dame who sources T Level placements, supports students and businesses throughout their industry placement, and maintains relationships with our partner employers.

Sports Teams Sponsors

Our ND Sports Teams are amongst the best in the region, as proven by their most recent season and their many achievements. Various companies and organisations sponsor the sports teams, as shown below. We are on the lookout for more sponsors for our other Team ND sports, particularly the Basketball and Netball programmes.
