Leeds Trinity University Digital Project 2026

It's been another successful year on the Leeds Trinity Project where 16 Lower Sixth Digital Software Development T Level students had the opportunity to participate in the collaboration project with Leeds Trinity University. The aime of teh project is to encourage students to work in groups and develop a project from Cybersecurity, AI and Game Development. Throughout June until July 2026 students have been busy developing their projects.

On Friday 3rd July, all students presented their projects to Yash, a Senior Lecturer of Computer Science at Leeds Trinity University and Simon, the Director of Technology at Lenvi. Yash and Simon said: "We are really impressed with all presentations, and the work students have completed over the past few weeks is at undergraduate level."

Notre Dame won three awards for their excellent presentations:

1st Prize Best Performance: Akshat, Patrick, Mitchell and Gideon
2nd Prize Best Performance: Abu Waquid, George, Zaki and Yahya
3rd Prinze Perserverance: Cletus

The winning teams will be invited again later in the year to participate in the Robotics Challenge and compete with undergraduate students at Leeds Trinity.

Mohammed and David from the department said: "It is a great opportunity for our students to be able to work in groups and develop certain skills which will be useful when completing work placements."
