Virtual NotreFest

NotreFest is specifically designed for Year 11 students who have applied to study at Notre Dame or are thinking about applying. It's your opportunity to ask any questions, find out more about our subjects, get familiar with our staff, and engage in our Summer Learning programme.

You only need to sign up for one live session if you wish. During the live session, there will be a short welcome introduction and then a live Q&A session. Sessions will last around 30 minutes. Don't worry - you won't be on camera or be heard! If you want to ask any questions, you can ask them privately during the live sessions and they will be answered in real-time or on the same day.

FAQ

Will I need to be on camera or speak?

No, you won't be on camera or be required to speak during the live sessions. You will be able to privately ask any questions you may have and receive an answer in real-time or on the same day all from the comfort of your sofa!

How do I find out more about subjects?

You will have access to all subject videos that have been created by the subject staff so there is no requirement to sign up for individual subjects. The videos are designed to give you a flavour of what the subjects are like. If you have any questions about your subject, you can email enquiries@notredamecoll.ac.uk or ask your questions during one of the live sessions. There will also be a staffed chatbot on our website should you have any further questions before or after the live sessions.

How do I find out more about the college?

As well as signing up for one of our live sessions, there will be a host of video resources introducing you to your Achievement Tutors, Study Support Team, College Counsellor, Sports Academy Coach, and many more. You can also watch our campus tour video and our college video.

What is the Summer Learning Programme?

Summer Learning has been designed for Year 11 students who are due to join Notre Dame in September 2020. It’s a hub of fantastic resources, created by your future subject teachers, containing reading lists, video tutorials, and tasks. Remember, this is not homework - this is a chance for you to continue your love of learning, get to know your A level/level 3 subjects, and allow you to have an academic focus for now and over summer. Please feel free to browse all subject resources to make sure you choose the right subject for you.
