The Achievement Support Tutors has a specific role in supporting achievement and will act as a coach to provide students with individualised support and challenges which will stretch their potential to the full. Throughout high school, you probably are familiar with a form tutor or a Head of Year. At Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College we have Achievement Tutors. These staff deliver our highly regarded tutorial programme and offer bespoke support for your whole time with us. They will motivate, guide and challenge you, helping you set and review learning targets.
The Achievement Tutor is there as your main point of contact, someone who will monitor and review your progress through attendance, punctuality and the subject markbooks on Cedar, helping you realise your full potential. Your Achievement Tutor is someone who will help signpost you to the numerous enrichment and careers opportunities to ensure your individual learning plan is as full as possible and you have the best opportunities for progression. They are also the person who can help with the offer of specialised further support if needed. Working under the guidance of the Head of Students and a Senior Tutor, the Achievement Tutors provide support, guidance and encouragement to all students in our care.
Cedar And Parent Portal Support Cedar is our intranet system that allows parents access to their child’s class and exam timetables, student attendance data, study programme details, and career aspirations.
