Two year CTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate - Equivalent to one A-level
Two year CTEC Level 3 Diploma - Equivalent to two A-levels  

Assessment

Extended Certificate: 50% coursework, 50% examination (includes 3 coursework units and 2 exams)
Diploma: 58% coursework, 42% examination (includes 6 coursework units and 4 exams)

What do I need to study this course?

You will need five GCSEs at grade 4 including GCSE English Language and Maths.

What will I study?

Topics covered include accounting concepts, customers and communication, and project planning. If you choose to study the Diploma you will follow the accounting pathway, which involves studying various accounting topics in more depth. The course is assessed via examinations and assignments which include written reports, verbal presentations and role plays.

What next?

Studying this course allows for progression to university, apprenticeships or employment. Our students are readily accepted on their chosen university courses, provided they work hard to achieve the grades required.
