What will I study?

Acting is a very practical subject which focusses on the development of the actor’s body, voice and imagination. The course will show you what life would be like as a professional actor and how you would approach rehearsals and performance in terms of your creative responsibilities. You will have the opportunity to experience techniques in character development, physical theatre, play reading, and engaging with and communicating an intention to an audience using your physical and vocal skills.

What next?

This acting course will help you prepare for a career in performing, with a specialist focus on developing your skillset for further acting training at university or an accredited drama school. All assessments are designed to be vocational, which means your lessons reflect how you’d work professionally as an actor whilst producing written work about your skills development.
