Students Get Cooking with Learning Support

On June 28, four students who work with our Learning Support Department took a trip to Jamie’s Ministry of Food in Leeds.

The students participated in a taster session to enhance their cooking skills and discuss general nutrition. This activity was part of their preparation for adulthood, and Leaning Support hope to take more students to attend these sessions in the autumn term.

Nuala Illand, Learning Support Associate Manager, said, “This was a lovely afternoon out, encouraging students to learn the life skills that they will need when they go to university.”
