ND Volleyball Wins Again!

Notre Dame’s women’s volleyball team has also made it through to the AoC National Volleyball Cup.

On January 11, they played in the A0C women’s regional tournament at New College Pontefract, winning every game 2-0 against the host college, John Leggott College, and Greenhead College. They won each game by a clear difference, most by 7 or 8 points. The highlight was winning the last set 15-1.

Coach Chary González-Latham said, “They deserved to win as they have been working really hard to improve their skills.” adding, “We’re very excited to have two teams in the National Volleyball AoC tournament. Our men’s team also played on January 11 and won 3-0 against a very strong Middlesbrough college team, making it to the next round of the Cup competition.” 

Coaches Chary González-Latham and Dave Potter are very happy with these results and proud of their players’ dedication and performance.
