Congratulations to Notre Dame’s men’s volleyball team who won the AoC Sport regional tournament. They will go on to represent the college and the Yorkshire and the Humber region at the National Volleyball Cup in April.
The team, who study a variety of courses at Notre Dame, were undefeated in all their matches. Chary Gonzalez-Latham, Head of MFL and Volleyball Coach, said, “Our most difficult game was against New College Pontefract. We were losing the third and decisive set 7-4 and we turned it around to win 11-7 and make it to the final game of the tournament. The final was against John Leggott's team. They were good and won the second set by quite a difference, but we came back and smashed the third set.”
“All our players are very excited about representing Notre Dame and our region at the nationals.”
