Coding, AI, and Cybersecurity - Digital T Level Project with Leeds Trinity University

Lower Sixth Digital T Level students have completed a 3 week project in collaboration with Leeds Trinity University, designed to develop their coding skills, research and team working skills.

At the start of June, the students were provided an introduction by the university into the different projects they want to develop - games development, cybersecurity, AI and machine learning. Students were given part of a code which they had to further develop, test, and debug. Yash, from Leeds Trinity University came to Notre Dame to check on the student's progress at the half way point and provided feedback on how to develop their code further.

On Friday 27th June, students presented their solutions at Leeds Trinity University. The winning teams were -

1st Place - Isaac, Douglas, Leonardo - Games Development
2nd Place - Lotanna, Matthew and Rid - Cybersecurity
3rd Place - Dawoud, Ewa and Varshini - AI

Well done to all the students who were involved.

Feedback from Leeds Trinity University was extremely positive and the collaboration project is set to continue next academic year. Huge thank you to them for supporting our students with enrichment activities to support their course.
