Since October 2024, a group of 16 A level Business students have been working in teams to solve real-life business problems relating to Equality & Diversity and Sustainability.
During the year, students have been mentored by Asda colleagues and have attended Asda-led events to gain an insight into different projects at ASDA. On Wednesday 2nd July the 'ASDA Leader students' were given the opportunity to present their final ideas to a panel of judges. The college are very proud of their achievements, they showed great employability skills such as communication, leadership, teamwork, and resilience throughout the project and in presenting to a large lecture theatre of spectators. Ideas included a food box to reduce food waste, a range of Halal ready meals, and an app which offers disabled shoppers a better in store experience.
They were presented with their certificate and all offered an opportunity of work experience at ASDA head office.
Well done to all our Notre Dame ASDA Leader students!
