Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College is delighted to announce that it has been awarded Further Education College of the Year 2026 at the prestigious Educate North Awards 2026.
The award recognises the college’s exceptional educational outcomes, transformational impact, and unwavering commitment to supporting students from highly disadvantaged and diverse communities.
In their citation, the judges said:
"Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College has been celebrated for its outstanding academic performance and transformational impact for its students from highly disadvantaged diverse communities. The judges praised its consistently excellent outcomes, elimination of achievement gaps, and strong progression to positive destinations. They also highlighted its high staff satisfaction, exceptional student support, and nationally leading curriculum and enrichment.”
This marks the first year the college has entered the awards, competing alongside some of the most respected further education institutions and sixth form colleges across the North of England.
