On 7th May all of our sports teams came together to celebrate the 2024/25 season at the annual Sports Awards. The night included an address from Principal Justine Barlow, speeches from the coaches and a photobooth for students to remember their time as part of Team ND.
Our Victor Ludorum was George Hilton and Victrix Ludorum was Molly Whitaker. This award celebrates the best of the best; Latin for the 'winner of games'.

This year there was a new award 'Team ND Grit Award', celebrating a player's determination, perseverance, and resilience. This year, Ronan Gallagher took home the award. Ronan broke his leg in 2 places in September in the first game of the season. Despite having to have surgery and a cage on for 6 months, Ronan kept his head up, came to games and training to watch and support the rest of the team. He finished off the season by playing a small part in the end of season round robin, scoring a goal. He came back strong and showed true grit.
It has been a particularly close season for Team ND but has been successful yet again!
Badminton came 2nd in arguably the closest league yet. This was followed by 4 Notre Dame students representing half of the Yorkshire and Humber team in the AoC National Badminton Cup, coming home in an impressive 3rd place.
It's been year of the 3rd place, with Mixed Volleyball. Netball, Men's Football 1st and 2nd teams all coming 3rd in their leagues. Bronze medals all round!
