Fabulous day for A-level Physical Education students and CTEC Sport students to explore the opportunities to study sport at Leeds Beckett.
It was very much a hands on day to work with the lecturers using the equipment and facilities to gain an insight to see how the sports degrees are delivered.
The day started in the sports arena working with a lecturer on movement analysis. They were then taken to a Sports Lab where the VO2 Max of three students were assessed. After a great lunch in the refectory they visited the indoor running track and Gyms they were taken to the second arena to work on Physical Education tasks such as teaching team building and Wheelchair rugby!
The trip was a really valuable insight into the world of sports degrees and the world class quality of Leeds Beckett facilities and staff.
