Notre Dame's Award Winning Marketing Department, Win Again!

On Monday 2nd February, the Marketing Team travelled down to Birmingham to the College Marketing Network's FE First Awards. The College Marketing Network is an organisation that brings together marketeers from across the Further Education sector, to share knowledge and advice with one another, build relationships and learn from industry professionals at CPD events. Each year, they host the FE First Awards, which celebrates the very best from the sector at an awards night covering almost every part of college marketing.

The Notre Dame Marketing Department had been shortlisted for an award and at the ceremony were welcomed on stage to collect their 'highly commended' award for 'Social and Digital Media Impact'. This is for the content on the college's TikTok they have produced over the last 12 months from trending videos and sounds, to informative content, to staff and student collabs, they really have experimented with it all. The TikTok account has also seen an 660 follower increase, 22k likes and 750k views, so it has really grown over the last year. The team were really happy with the result and this is their third award in two years after winning two awards at the event last year. The night was hosted by Ed James, a popular West Midlands radio host. 

Richard Hall, Marketing Manager, said '“I am very proud of the team coming away with an award that we were shortlisted for, particularly because we were the only sixth form college in attendance amongst some much larger colleges. A brilliant evening in Birmingham and a great reminder of what can be achieved when talented people genuinely enjoy what they do.”
