We are proud to announce that our Class of 2026 Notre Dame students have once again achieved outstanding results in their Level 3 qualifications across A-levels, BTECs, CTECs and T Levels.
Some of this year's highlights include:
A-levels
- 1,612 A-level high grades (A*-B) were achieved
- 99.5% A-level pass rate
- 794 A and A* grades were awarded
BTECs / CTECs
- 750 high grades (D*-M) were achieved
- 100% of students in BTEC Applied Science, Digital Games Design, and Musical Theatre achieved a high grade (D*-M)
- 100% of students in CTEC Health & Social Care, Sport, and Design 9Interior and Architecture) achieved a high grade (D*-M)
Enhancing Excellence
Our Enhancing Excellence programme supports and encourages students of high academic potential to apply to Oxford, Cambridge and other world top 30 universities, as well as Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary Science degrees. This year, 10 students achieved a place at either the University of Oxford or the University of Cambridge – a phenomenal achievement and a testament to their hard work, dedication and ambition. The success also reflects the strength of our Enhancing Excellence programme, which provides students with opportunities including mock interviews, academic lectures, guest speakers and dedicated university application support. Celebrating T Level Success
We are also incredibly proud of our T Level students. T Levels are technical qualifications designed with employers to effectively prepare students for the world of work, combining classroom learning with valuable industry placements. We are particularly proud of our T Level Health and T Level Digital Software Development students, with 100% achieving a high grade (D-M). Our T Level students continue to benefit from the opportunity to develop practical, industry-focused skills alongside their academic studies, preparing them for university, apprenticeships and employment.

Looking Ahead
As we celebrate the achievements of our class of 2026, we look forward to welcoming a new cohort of students in September next week after GCSE Results Day.
Results Day was also an opportunity for students to celebrate their next steps. We welcomed local universities; Leeds Trinity University and Leeds Beckett University to College to meet students who had their offers confirmed, providing final advice and support ahead of starting university.
Notre Dame Principal, Justine Barlow, said: “Today we celebrate another outstanding set of results from our students. Their achievements reflect not only their own dedication and commitment, but also the unwavering support of parents, carers and our exceptional staff. I am immensely proud of what they have accomplished and confident they will continue to thrive in the next stage of their lives.”
