Notre Dame Signs up to Leeds City Council's Future Talent Plan

Notre Dame Catholic Sixth Form College has formally pledged its support to Leeds City Council's Future Talent Plan, a city-wide initiative to ensure Leeds becomes a place where no one is left behind in an increasingly competitive labour market.

The pledge, submitted by Principal Justine Barlow, reflects Notre Dame's commitment to supporting young people across Leeds and contributing to the city's inclusive growth ambitions. The Future Talent Plan brings together businesses, public sector organisations and education providers under a shared vision: a globally competitive city where the right opportunities exist for everyone to thrive.

Notre Dame's pledge includes commitments across curriculum, partnership and community engagement - including its cross-city work with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and the Leeds Health and Care Academy providing industry placements for Health T Level students, and its proactive collaboration with Leeds City Council and the 14-19 Strategic Partnership to reduce NEET and Not Known figures across the city.

Justine Barlow, Principal and National Leader of Education, said: "Notre Dame is proud to show our continued support for Leeds. Signing the Future Talent Plan pledge is a natural extension of work we are already doing every day."

Notre Dame's involvement is part of Leeds City Ambition, the city's framework for inclusive economic growth. To find out more, visit the Leeds City Ambition website here.
