'Narnia' - Our 2024 Production

Last week, Notre Dame's Theatre Arts Department opened it's doors after two years to perform two nights of the classic, Narnia. From the performance it was clear how much time and effort both cast and crew put into it, bringing the story to life.

Greg Davis, Drama and Media Technician, said 'The students have worked tirelessly to bring ‘Narnia’ to life since the show was first launched back in September. It has been a joy to watch all their hard work pay off for the performances and to showcase the talents we have on the stage and behind the scenes, it is truly a team effort'.

Surprises included the Aslan, a huge life-like lion's head, made entirely from laser cut cardboard within college. Huge thanks to product design teacher Carol Sheward for helping provide (one of!) the stars of the show, with a special shoutout to Laura Castillo, a lower sixth student who 'spent a fantastic amount of time during lunch and after college creating the model', said Ian Granger, Head of Product Design.

Well done to all those involved - it was a great show!
