NAFTAs

The Theatre Arts department recently celebrated its annual NAFTAs (Notre Dame Awards for Theatre Arts), a vibrant event recognising student achievement across A-level Drama & Theatre, BTEC Acting, and BTEC Musical Theatre. Over 50 students were honoured across a wide range of categories, reflecting the depth of talent within the department.

The ceremony was a joyful occasion, with many former students returning to celebrate alongside their peers, making it a fitting farewell as they prepare to move on to new opportunities in September.

Head of Department Graham Hamlyn commented, “The talent, hard work and creativity among our students over the past two years has been a real joy to see. It’s not just about the most naturally talented, but those who have worked exceptionally hard to improve and develop their academic and practical skills—we are incredibly proud of them all.”
