Lent College Mass

The college chaplaincy organised a special college mass for Lent in the chapel on Thursday 14th March at lunch time with Fr Marc Homsey, the chaplain to the universities in Leeds presiding.

The special intentions for the mass were the students and staff who went on pilgrimage to Lourdes in 2023 and the new group travelling in 2024 as well as for Daniella Thackray, a Notre Dame student (2014-2016) who sadly died in February.

Students took a variety of roles in the mass; Ruth Ng served, Bettina Cahlig read, and Moses Colley accompanied the hymns - Amazing Grace and Shine Jesus Shine - on the piano, which those who attended enjoyed singing.

The Principal, Justine Barlow said 'It was wonderful to see so many staff and students attend, and we look forward to this being a termly event at Notre Dame in the future.'
