Over the last 9 months, a group of students from Notre Dame have been involved in a programme called Insight2Uni. this programme support black heritage students in Year 12 as they prepare for university. The programme is run by With Insight Education.
During this time, students have:
- Taken part in monthly online mentoring sessions, focused on topics such as choosing courses, applying to university, and managing student finance
- Received one-to-one support and guidance from their mentors, who are current university students from black heritage backgrounds
- Visited their mentors' universities to experience campus life and meet their mentors in person
On Friday 7th November, the University of Leeds hosted the INsight2Uni Graduation and Networking Event. This enabled them to reflect on their journey and achievements.
