Our students visited The Hyde Park Picture House last week ahead of their takeover of the cinema in January. They toured their projection room and learnt about the history of the heritage cinema. Afterwards they we're given a presentation by the cinemas youth engagement officer and gained insight into how films are programmed there.
Details of the takeover and screening will be shared in the new year. The screening is part of our annual partnership with the Hyde Park Picture house as part of our cinema takeover project. Students will select and screen a film of their choosing at the heritage cinema giving them hands on film programming, marketing and event planning experience. The screening is due to take place on the 18th January.
