Goodbye Class of 2025

On Friday 23rd May we bid farewell to the class of 2025 at Upper Sixth Leavers Day. This marks students' last day at Notre Dame, as they officially go on stand down for study leave and their exams.

The day was filled with celebrations, with students of course dressing to impress in their fancy dress - a long-standing Notre Dame tradition. This year included cowboys, minions, giant dinosaurs, and grannies!

The highlight of the day was the Leavers Assembly, organised by Achievement Tutors. It began by sharing everyone's beloved Cedar pictures - how they've all changed! Next was a farewell message from the Principal and the many esteemed awards - with many voted for by the students. Awards included best attendance, the GRIT awards, and best outfits. ND Legends are decided by staff, they are students who truly represent 'ND Spirit' and a remembered by a plaque on the Legends Board for years to come. Tis year's legends were - Elson Fernando, Ngozichukwu Anyanwu, Hermon Beraki, Xander Smith, Joseph Crown, Han Sun, Joshua Frampton-Tripp, and Bhoomi Patel.

The assembly finished with confetti canons, with students making sure they were remembered by the volume of their cheers! Celebrations continued in the Upper Study Area and St Joseph's Court. Students had emotional goodbyes and remembered their two years at Notre Dame by taking lots of pictures with friends and classmates.

We wish this year's Upper Sixth every success in their exams, next steps and beyond. Class dismissed!
