Earlier in summer the European Triathlon Duathlon Championships took place in Banyoles in Spain.
Upper Sixth student, Joseph Urquhart, represented Team GB in the 16-19 Open AG Sprint. This event consists of a 750m swim, a 20km bike, and a 5km run to finish. Jospeph came in 8th place in 57.45 minutes. It was a close race with just over two minutes between 1st place and 8th place.
We are incredibly proud of Joseph and his sporting achievements, and we can't wait to see what he does next. Well done Joseph!
