Our student executive showed their support for people affected by breast cancer this November, organising a range of events to raise money for the charity Breast Cancer Now.
As well as selling raffle tickets and arranging a Kahoot session that students took part in during tutorials, the executive encouraged their peers to wear pink on November 27, asking for voluntary contributions to their charity collection. They managed to raise an impressive £232!
Mrs. Heather Ward, an achievement tutor at college who supports our students to organise charitable events, said, "It's so good to see how generous students have been, especially at this very challenging time. It just goes to show how compassionate and kind our Notre Dame community can be. We hope that this money can make a real difference to research, development and care for women who are living with breast cancer."
