T Level Students Highly Commended

Five of Notre Dame’s Digital T Level students have been highly commended this week, for their entry to a Vlog Strategy Analysis competition.

The competition was set by BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, and Ottr Works, a company that aims “To make powerful, unique and refreshing content for businesses to assist them with their online social presence.” Our students submitted a written report analysing a number of Ottr Works’s vlogs.

The competition judge reviewed their entry and was very impressed with it, awarding it highly commended status. He felt that our students had “done their research and submitted a considered and thoughtful entry with a constructive tone.” They had “understood the business rationale behind the content and picked up on the values portrayed by the company. Their points were presented clearly, making the report easy to digest.”

Congratulations to lower sixth students Adam Wilcock, Jay Jowett, George Barrett-Pearson, Luke Nugent, Amerigo Guardascione, and Zbik Bartlomiej. Adam and Jay are pictured above.

Head of Computer Science and IT Mr. Steve Johnston said, “The students demonstrated strong systems analysis skills in working both collaboratively and independently to produce a concise and thoughtful report to meet a tight deadline, and are worthy of their commendation". We are very proud of their achievement.
