Students Begin Building their Future with Bridge to Employment Success!

On Thursday 2 May four Notre Dame students were invited to a celebration awards meal alongside other Bridge to Employment ABTS (Alliance Building and Training Session) finalists.

Run by healthcare company Johnson & Johnson, the Bridge to Employment programme recruits motivated students who undertake a unique learning experience. They receive the opportunity to participate in a range of enrichment activities, and are exposed to a variety of career paths. Students from all over the world take part in the programme, with a select few securing roles as Student Ambassadors, who go on to attend the ABTS event in Lisbon, Portugal, partaking in sessions, as well as researching and preparing for their own presentation.

Lower sixth student Ivy Machaka wowed the Johnson & Johnson and Young Enterprise panel with her confidence and enthusiasm and was successfully selected to attend the ABTS annual conference in Lisbon as a Student Ambassador.

A huge congratulations to Ivy and all of our Notre Dame finalists, we are extremely proud of you!
