Once again Notre Dame has exceeded the national average for offers to attend Oxford and Cambridge Universities. Nine of the 32 students who applied have been successful in gaining a conditional place, which gives us a 28% success rate, compared to 20% nationally (including independent schools).
Congratulations to those nine upper sixth students whose effort, resilience and determination have earned them an offer at these prestigious institutions.
Congratulations also to those who have received offers, or who are waiting to hear, from other worldwide top 30 universities, including Imperial College London, King’s College London, the University of Edinburgh, LSE (London School of Economics), and UCL (University College London). We are extremely proud of each and every one of you.
As Ms Kitty Graham, Enhancing Excellence Coordinator, says, ‘It has been a privilege for the staff at Notre Dame to work with all of these bright, dedicated and engaging students. Particular thanks from the Enhancing Excellence team must go to Mark Anderson, Sarah Barber, Susan Chapman, Maria Coyle, Richard Hurrell, Marie-Claire Keddie, Nick Sykes and Bryn Tales for the extra efforts they put in to encourage and support these students in their applications.’
