Notre Dame’s Head of Psychology Lisa Kirk walked 100.1 miles in October to raise money for Mind, a charity that “provides advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem, and campaigns to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.”
Inspired by the events of the last 18 months and their impact on our students, Lisa took on the ‘100 Miles in October’ challenge, walking and running for 30 hours and 35 minutes, mainly with her dog Thor (pictured above). Lisa has raised £120, a fantastic contribution to the £700,000 raised by everyone who took part.
