Eagle-eyed viewers will have spotted six of Notre Dame’s fantastic students on ITV Calendar news last Thursday, February 8th.
We were invited to be part of an item focusing on the effects of bullying, which our students discussed at length with 16 year old Jorjia Reed. Jorjia is currently running an anti-bullying awareness raising campaign with the support of Fixers, a National Lottery funded project. You can find out more about her campaign – and Fixers – here: http://bit.ly/2EoLH5b
Although our students weren’t all featured in the final news item, each one of them spoke passionately and eloquently during filming about their opinions of bullying and past experiences of it. Thank you to Aseosa Uwadiae, Danielle Capstick, Eve Rooney, Francesca Hunt, Janos Magyur and Yusra Al-Bayati for giving up their time to take part. And thank you to Fixers for allowing Notre Dame to be involved with this campaign.
