Notre Dame’s Men’s Basketball Performance Team experienced a tough defeat versus Ashville College on September 29, with a final score of 55-45. Man of the match (pictured) was John Amoda who was quoted saying: “Although we weren’t able to get the result we wanted, we were able to learn many lessons from it and with hard work we will bounce back stronger.”
Head coach Ricky Fetske had this to say: “This was a closely contested match and in the final quarter Ashville extended the lead and we struggled to close the gap. There were a lot of positives to take from today’s performance. We will be working hard in training this week to make improvements and prepare for our next game.”
The team will be preparing for the upcoming Regional Tournament, which will take place in Hull at Wakefield College during the first week in October.
