Law Students Rewarded for Resilience

14 Notre Dame law students have been recognised for their resilience during their time at college.

The Law Department created the Sara Djoudi Award in honour of a Notre Dame student who sadly passed away, to commemorate her time with us. The award has traditionally been given to a student who has demonstrated the resilience and determination that Sara herself showed. As the past 18 months have provided an unusual educational and life experience for our students, we have extended the award this year. Fourteen students were nominated by their class teachers and will share the award for demonstrating resilience during a difficult time.

The prize winners were:

Hannah Berry

Macey Colley

Ammar Nadim

Kieran Morrell

The following students received a runners-up award:

Seray Hatton

Jessica Fakoya

Jenny Mengistu

Summer Bruce

Finlay Massam

Adeel Ali

Yvette Dally Arah Aiyah

Thomas Ryan

Adonay Biniam

Eleanor McNulty

Head of Law Ms. Jayne Fry said, “They are fantastic young people and the department wishes them well in their endeavours beyond Notre Dame.”
