Former Notre Dame student Georgina Heffron is getting ready to take on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Georgina, who came to us from Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School, is now studying History at University College London. Georgina is making the climb to put something back into the community and support children’s charity ‘Hope for Children’.
Georgina says: ‘Every child has the right to a happy, healthy and positive childhood, and most important of all this charity gives individuals hope. I struggle to fathom the inequality and poor quality of life that a substantial number of individuals around the world have to endure, with little opportunity to improve their situations.’
Georgina is currently in the process of crowdfunding will all the money going to the charity. You can find her full crowdfunding page here: https://uclkili2018.everydayhero.com/uk/georgina-s-kilimanjaro-climb
