The Notre Dame community - especially our PE and Sports Department - were very proud of ex-student Mikolaj Oledzki on Saturday 17 October, when he played in the rugby Challenge Cup final against Salford Red Devils as part of the winning Leeds Rhinos team.
Mikolaj attended Mount St. Mary's Catholic High School before joining Notre Dame to study CTEC Sport, A level Business and A level Sociology. He completed his studies in 2017, winning the Notre Dame Sports Person of the Year Award due to his hard work and commitment to the sport. He made his debut with Leeds Rhinos the same year.
Sports tutor Ms. Julie Kavanagh said, “It's always fantastic to see former students go on and achieve sporting success at an elite level. As a department we are immensely proud of him.”
We wish him all the very best for his continuing career.
