Ducks in a Row for Children in Need

A huge thank you to the Notre Dame community for taking part in this year’s socially distanced fundraising for Children in Need. Thanks to the efforts of Head of Biology Mrs. Sue Lowe, and our lay chaplain Mr. Andrew Sullivan, we’ve raised a grand total of £586.25!

Staff and students tuned in to watch the BBC’s Annual Duck Race Sweepstake, which took place live on the BBC website at 1 pm on Friday 13 November. 20 rubber ducks were raced along a white-water track, the competitors including James Pond, Audrey Peckburn and Ducktor Who. Everyone who backed a duck donated 50 pence, with the final winner being Quackman and Bobbin’.
