Students experience virtual reality during a psychology workshop.
On June 19 2018, 28 A level Psychology students visited Leeds Trinity University to take part in a Psychology subject focus day. The students enjoyed a tour of the campus and accommodation, had the opportunity to ask questions about university life, and took part in a highly engaging workshop during which they explored some of the exciting areas of psychology which they can study at higher education level. Dr Ben Hardy introduced our students to the rapidly developing field of virtual reality (VR) therapy, then offered them the chance to experience VR themselves.
Psychology remains a very popular degree choice for our students and all who attended the taster day were able to discover what it would be like to study this subject further at Leeds Trinity University. They all had a fabulous time.
