Rugby Enhancement goes from Strength to Strength

The male and female rugby enhancements, which were introduced this year at Notre Dame, have had a very positive first few weeks and are looking to increase their successes even further in the near future.

The boys Rugby Union team have played an impressive seven matches so far this academic year – and managed to bag a victory in three of these. Their most recent matches took place at the Pontefract Rugby Festival on the 11th of November, where the team won two of their three matches against Pontefract New College and Elliot Hudson College. Their third match at the festival resulted in a draw against Greenhead College.

Our girls’ Rugby League team are currently still in training but are looking forward to some fixtures very soon. They receive training on a Monday evening by acclaimed England Rugby League team member Lauren Stallwood.

We wish our teams all the best in their future matches!
