Applicant Parent Information Evening: Tuesday 9th July – 6-7pm.
We would like to invite applicant parents/carers to the Applicant Parent Information Evening on Tuesday 9th July 2019 in the main hall from 6-7pm. This will be an opportunity for parents/carers to meet your child’s personal Achievement Support Tutor, Career Advisors, Study Support Assistants and the Enhancing Excellence Coordinators who will support students wishing to make a university application to Russell Group or Oxbridge universities. Parents/carers will receive information on how the College communicates to you regarding your child’s progress and you will get the opportunity to ask our Senior Leadership Team any questions you may have.
Please note this event is only for parents/carers of students who have applied and been offered a place to study at Notre Dame from September 2019.

Please note another evening will take place for new lower sixth parents on Thursday 12th September 2019. If you attended the 9th July evening, it is not necessary to attend the 12th September evening.
As part of our continuing commitment to improving student achievement, I am pleased to inform you that the College is introducing an online Parent Portal through our intranet system Cedar. This will enable you access to your child’s attendance and assessment data.
The new Parent Portal can be accessed securely through the College website.
To log on to the system you will need to use a username and the individual password provided by post
For security reasons, your username and password cannot be printed on the same document.
Your username is generated by placing a P in front of your child’s College username.
Their username can be found below the barcode on their College ID card, and is the same code with which they access their College network and Cedar account.

How many Parent Portal logins are available for my child?
There is one Parent Portal login created for each student at Notre Dame. This login should be used by all parents/carers.
Can I access Parent Portal from a tablet or smartphone?
The Parent Portal is accessed through the College website and can be viewed on all devices.
Who should I contact if I have a question about the data on Parent Portal?
If you have any questions regarding Parent Portal please contact college on 0113 2946644, the office staff will then direct your question to the appropriate staff. Answers to these queries may not be possible over the phone due to staff commitments, however a response will be made within a time period.
