What do I need to study this course?
Grade 4 in GCSE English or a merit in Level 2 Health and Social Care.
What will I study?
The CTEC Level 3 Health and Social Care courses are an ideal foundation for entering the workplace or higher education, providing you with a theoretical background reinforced with practical skills. You will cover a variety of topics including equality, diversity and rights, anatomy and physiology, safeguarding and both sociological and psychological perspectives. Work placement will be completed on both the Diploma and Extended Diploma courses.
Our students progress onto a range of health and social care-related courses at higher education level including; Nursing, Midwifery and Childcare. All the courses offered provide an ideal foundation for entering the workplace. On completion of the Extended Diploma course students can undertake a summer school programme with Leeds Teaching Hospital.
