Notre Dame is a Catholic sixth form college that has been designated independent of the local authority. It is a further education (FE) college, funded by central government via the Young People’s Learning Agency. The College is controlled by its own governing body (corporation), however, the land and premises are owned by the trustees of the RC Diocese of Leeds.
