Tumbling Triumph for Notre Dame Student!

Congratulations are in order for Notre Dame student Sophie Richardson, who represented Great Britain in the Tumbling and Trampolining World Cup in Portugal in September.
Sophie had been a gymnast for several years when, at the age of eleven, she made the decision to specialise in tumbling. Although not currently an Olympic Sport, tumbling is gaining a higher profile alongside its partner, trampolining and representatives from the sport are currently trying to raise its profile even further.
A second year student, Sophie is currently studying for A Levels in Maths, Health and Social Care and PE. She trains between four and six days a week which can be quite demanding, although she says she has got used to balancing her college work with her training.
We wish her every success for the future with the sport and will follow her career closely!
