Notre Dame celebrated its Feast Day this week, with activities taking place in assemblies, tutorials and lessons to commemorate this special time.
Visiting speakers were welcomed throughout the week and, on Wednesday 7th December, Fr Eamonn Mulcahy from Manchester arrived at college to deliver a thought-provoking and inspiring homily in assembly. He then addressed a large group of A Level Philosophy and Ethics students on the topic of environmental ethics, specifically considering the Christian approach. All students commented on how useful they found the session.
Fr Mulcahy is pictured with upper sixth students Amy McHale and Catherine Warr.
Thank you to Catherine Herring, Head of RE, for organising the visit.
