Twenty-one Notre Dame students attended a special ceremony last week to celebrate their graduation from the National Citizen Service (NCS) scheme.
The scheme is open to all 15 to 17 year olds and is designed to provide them with experiences and skills which will benefit them for life. The young people on the scheme take part in a number of challenging activities, including spending some time at a residential activity centre, working on a skills-based project within a team and taking part in a social action project which benefits the community.
The Notre Dame graduates celebrated their achievement at the ceremony which was held at Leeds College of Music. Thank you to Rose Lou, Director of International Students, for accompanying the students on the evening.
