Homeless Sleep Out

Missing Attachment

On the 5th November 8 students and 3 intrepid staff braved the elements in the Notre Dame annual sleep-out for the homeless. Whilst the rest of Leeds were at bonfire displays we heard from upper 6th student Mae Milburn about the trials that the homeless face. Mae has been volunteering with Leeds community kitchen for 6 months. Her inspired talk gave all of us real insight into the homeless issue. At 11pm we got settled on some cardboard under the canopy outside the upper common room. At 11.15pm it started to rain!!
