Congratulations from Notre Dame: Cardinal Heenan Student Wins Place on Leeds Youth Parliament

Notre Dame Sixth Form College would like to congratulate Scarlet Rowe, a current year 10 student at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School, for winning a place on the Leeds Youth Parliament. The election closed on the 12th February and all at Notre Dame were very pleased to hear about Scarlet’s success.

Scarlet contacted Allan Clifford, Head of Government and Politics, to ask for support with her campaign as the only Catholic school pupil campaigning to become a member. Our Government and Politics students were shown Scarlet’s video and manifesto and were encouraged to utilise their right to vote in the elections.

Scarlet joins three other teenagers from across Leeds to make up the Leeds branch of the Youth Parliament. All at Notre Dame wish her the very best of luck in her new position.
